Who Is The Summer 2026 Program for?
Our Summer 2026 Program is for children in Kindergarten and School-Age. So if that’s your child, you’re in the right place, and yes, even if you’re currently enrolled, summer does require registration.
Now here’s the exciting part…
Long Branch is opening to the community!
This summer, we’re opening up our Long Branch program to the community, which means families who aren’t currently enrolled will also have a chance to join us!
We do it in a way that stays fair and keeps things organized:
First, we offer spaces to currently enrolled children
Then we offer spaces to siblings of enrolled children
After that, if spots are still available, we open community registration
Please note that once community registration opens, it’s on a first come, first served basis and spaces are limited.
Catchment school requirement (for community registrations)
One quick but important note for community families joining Long Branch! We give priority to children who attend one of the local catchment schools we serve.

Thinking About Year-Round Care? Summer is a Great First Step.
If you’re a family from one of our catchment schools and you’ve been curious about Rec Room for before- or after-school care, summer is the perfect way to experience what we’re all about without a long-term commitment.
Your child gets to meet our staff, make friends, and settle into our environment. You get to see firsthand how we run things. And if it feels like the right fit, you’ll already be part of the Rec Room community when September registration opens.
It’s a low-pressure way to try us out, and many summer families end up staying for the school year!

As soon as we have Summer Program updates, like when community registration officially opens, we’ll share them in two places:

Quick note about Royal York
Royal York’s summer program is reserved for currently enrolled families only, and those families will receive individual emails with the registration form link. So keep an eye out for our emails!
