Do you operate during holidays, PA days, and breaks?
RR is closed on Easter Monday, Civic Day and all the statutory holidays.
We are open on non-instructional school days such as PA Days, March Break Winter Break. For children in before- & after-school programs, there is an additional fee for extended hours.
What schools do the teachers walk the children to?
Staff will walk children to and from John English Junior Middle School and St. Leo Catholic Elementary School. The Rec Room is not able to accommodate children who require bussing to and from other schools.
Are you open in the summer?
Yes, only for children who are already enrolled. The Pre-school summer camp program operates on reduced hours (i.e. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) and will be closed for 2 weeks for the centre’s summer closure.
The Kindergarten and School-age summer camp program is subject to demand and staff availability. For eligible children, the *CWELCC child care rebate will also apply to the summer camp fees.
Can I schedule a tour of the facilities?
We would love to give you a tour of our facilities. This way, you can get a feel for the environment and see how your little one will be spending their days.
To remain current, we prefer to schedule a tour closer to when you need to make a placement decision.
